Al-Kharj is one of the most important provinces in Saudi Arabia, located in the southeast of Riyadh. Its area is 1020 km², and its population has reached around 332,243 people. Additionally, it includes the city of Ad-Dilam, considered the capital of Al-Kharj Province, containing many historical landmarks. The city witnessed the battle between King Abdulaziz and Ibn Rashid. Furthermore, there is Al-Yamamah, a town in the north of As-Seeh, considered one of the oldest cities on the peninsula, located in the northeast.
There is also a region called Al-Binnah, which is part of an ancient settlement. Several types of pottery have been discovered in the area, dating back to the third millennium BC up to the fifth century AH.
